ŠKODA’s best selling SUV, the compact KAROQ, has just gone through a significant number of improvements. Now boasting a new look, innovative connectivity options and a suite of driver assistance and safety features.
Please note, we’re not sure when the new KAROQ will be landing in New Zealand. If you would like to be kept in the loop, let or ŠKODA team know here.
A New Look
The KAROQ has a new face based on ŠKODA’s evolving design language. The compact SUV has a more confident look with its wider hexagonal grille and beefed up front bumpers. The silhouette of the car is now more sporty & dynamic with the addition of the rear spoiler. Further complemented by the new narrow LED head & rear lights.
More Environmentally Materials
A key objective of ŠKODA’s design team is sustainability, the KAROQ’s new interior now uses more environmentally friendly materials. Like the optional ECO fabric upholstery, made from recycled (also recyclable) materials, all of which are of non-animal origin. Don’t think the focus on the environment has taken away from comfort. The KAROQ will have optional electric seats with memory functions.
Safety & Assistance
The new KAROQ will of course feature the latest in safety form the Czech car maker. Like the proactive occupant protection, which can tighten seatbelts, close windows and prepare the car if hazards are detected. The stables we’ve all come to know will be available on the KAROQ range, including; emergency braking, predicative cruise control, lane assist.
To complement the assistance systems is the 8″ Virtual Cockpit, or the 10.25″ display on higher spec models. Plus a range of infotainment options with the new Laura digital assistant being on offer.
