We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at Gazley Motors. The Automotive Service Advisor is responsible for managing the customer experience at the service department by scheduling service appointments, communicating with customers, coordinating with technicians, and providing estimates for service and repair work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, excellent communication skills, and an interest in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule service appointments and manage the flow of work in the service department
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and concerns, and provide recommendations for service and repair work
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure that work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards
- Provide estimates for service and repair work and explain the options available to the customer
- Follow up with customers after service to ensure their satisfaction and address any additional concerns
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service work performed
- Greet customers and schedule service appointments
- Obtain and provide accurate repair orders to technicians
- Answer customer questions and concerns about their vehicle
- Explain repair procedures and costs to customers
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with completed work
- Maintain clean and organized service areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and dealership management systems
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
